The Dosha Pops Story
Welcome to Dosha Pops! I am the creator of these unique lollipops. Dosha Pops is the love child of my passion for food and my latest lifestyle change to achieve physical and spiritual balance through Ayurveda.
Learning confectionary artistry through training with sugar experts in New York City has been a natural evolution of my life’s journey. Over the years I have travelled many corners of the globe, immersing myself in local food cultures. My travels have inspired me to craft exciting flavors. At an early age I learned the floury pleasures of baking from scratch at the side of my café owner mother, and never lost my joy for bonding with others by cooking and sharing communal meals.
Dosha Pops has given me the opportunity to once again bond with friends and family who have been my loyal taste testers and advisers. I founded Dosha Pops in my apartment kitchen in 2012. The inspiration came from years of striving for a greater balance in my life. As a lawyer, I worked long hours and lived a life of sedentary excess. Through working with a life coach and exploring holistic natural health care, I decided to embark on an Ayurvedic lifestyle.
Still wanting to indulge in the sweeter side of life, I started crafting these artisanal lollipops with Ayurvedic herbs, spices and teas. Realizing that others want a healthier candy indulgence too, I created Dosha Pops. Our lollipops offer people a healthy exotic flavored alternative. What sets Dosha Pops apart is that it’s not only an organic candy that satisfies your sweet tooth, it has Ayurvedic ingredients that help balance your constitution (specific doshas). My hope is that my lollipops will inspire you to live a healthier, happier, more balanced life through Ayurveda.
